Application
These conditions regulate the contracts for the temporary use of the rooms of Petra Country House, for accommodation and for any additional services provided by the facility.
The contract
Unless otherwise agreed, the rooms are available on the day of arrival from 3:00 p.m. (check-in) and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure (check-out). Petra Country House reserves the right to collect a penalty due to the late release of the room.
Prices and payment
Petra Country House is obliged to make the rooms booked by the customer available and to provide the agreed services based on the confirmation by the facility.
The customer is obliged to pay the agreed price for the hotel accommodation and for the other confirmed services (also applies to services provided by third parties).
The agreed prices include value added tax.
The calculation is made in Euro.
The payment for the rooms must be made before arrival. Invoices must be paid during or at the end of the stay. For late payments the hotel is authorized to charge legal interest pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2002.
Petra Country House has the right at any time to request an advance payment in the form of a deposit pursuant to section 1385 of the Civil Code.
Withdrawal by Petra Country House
Petra Country House has the right to withdraw from the contract if the deposit or the confirmation deposit are not paid within the agreed term.
Furthermore, it is authorized for good reason to withdraw from the contract without liability for damages, for example, if:
- force majeure or other circumstances outside the scope of action of Petra Country House make it impossible to fulfill the contract
- a reservation has been made with misleading or false information.
- if Petra Country House has reasonable grounds to believe that the accommodation may compromise the proper functioning, safety or reputation of the facility in public.
Petra Country House has the duty to inform the customer immediately of the withdrawal. In the event of justified withdrawal, the customer will not be able to request compensation for damages.
Withdrawal by the Customer (cancellation, termination), no show, early departure
Cancellation:
Cancellation of the reservation is only possible with the Refundable rate plan. However, this is not possible with the “Not Refundable” rate plan.
If the “Refundable” rate has been chosen, cancellation is possible
- Within 7 days before the customer’s arrival date, the accommodation contract can be terminated without the customer paying a penalty.
- For cancellations made by the customer or the buyer during the period between the seventh day before arrival and the arrival itself, the customer is required to pay the following penalties: 100% of the price
In the event of a no show (the customer does not arrive and does not cancel the reservation), the customer must pay 100% of the agreed total price (the agreed price includes accommodation and other booked services).
In the event of a late arrival, the agreed total price must be paid. In the event of an early departure, the customer or buyer is obliged to pay the price for the stay enjoyed and in addition 100% of the agreed price for the remaining, unused period.
Customer liability
The customer is liable for damage to the buildings and/or inventory caused by himself, his family, his guests, according to the legal provisions. It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain sufficient insurance for such liability cases.
Privacy policy
The information that the customer gives to the hotel by telephone, in person, by fax or via a form will be processed by the hotel, unless otherwise agreed, for the following purposes:
The customer has the right at any time to access, update, rectify or delete the data or to oppose their processing in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/2003.
- for purposes that are relevant to the contract (booking data)
- for purposes relating to laws, regulations or EU regulations (e.g. information sheets in accordance with the legal provisions)
- periodic information
- for customer satisfaction surveys
